By using Hustle Finance ("the app"), you agree to the following terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Nature of the Service

Hustle Finance is a bookkeeping and accounting tool designed to help entrepreneurs, freelancers, and small businesses track income, expenses, and generate invoices. The app provides estimated tax calculations for informational purposes only.

2. User Accounts

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity under your account
• You must provide accurate information when creating your profile

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the app only for its intended purpose of personal or business financial record-keeping. You may not:

• Use the app to facilitate fraud, tax evasion, or money laundering
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the app
• Use the app in any way that violates applicable South African law

4. Financial Data Accuracy

You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the financial data you enter into the app. Hustle Finance does not verify the correctness of income amounts, expense claims, or any other financial information.

Tax calculations provided by the app are based on publicly available SARS tax tables and are estimates only. Actual tax obligations may differ based on your complete financial situation, applicable exemptions, and current SARS regulations.

5. Receipt Scanning

The receipt scanning feature uses artificial intelligence to extract data from receipt images. While we strive for accuracy, AI-extracted data may contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting all scanned data before saving it.

6. Invoices and Documents

Invoices, quotes, and credit notes generated by the app are created based on information you provide. You are responsible for ensuring these documents comply with applicable legal requirements, including but not limited to the Value-Added Tax Act requirements for tax invoices.

7. Subscription and Payments

• The app offers both free and premium tiers
• Premium subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store
• Refunds are handled according to the respective store's refund policy
• We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law:

• The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any financial losses, tax penalties, or other damages arising from use of the app or reliance on its calculations
• We are not liable for data loss due to technical failures, though we take reasonable measures to protect your data
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hustle Finance, its developers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any applicable law.

10. Termination

• You may delete your account at any time through the Settings screen
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
• Upon termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify you of material changes through the app.
